Performance ABITARE von Giusy Cirillo

We cordially invite you to a performance by Italian dancer Giusy Cirillo.

The eventwill take placeas part of Samanta Malavasi’s exhibition ABITARE onThursday, July 16, at 6:30 p.m.

Afterward, all participating artists from our two current exhibitions will be available for a discussion.

Giusy Cirillo is an Italian contemporary dancer and performer who lives in Berlin and Rome. Her dance career began with ballet in a class at the Accademia Coreutica under the direction of Elisabeth Hertel.

She continued her training in Florence, attending the Scuola del Balletto di Toscana under the direction of Cristina Bozzolini. At just 19 years old, she began her professional career with the ALTRADANZA Company in Bari under the direction of Domenico Iannone and, at the same time, collaborated with Michele Merola and the MM Contemporary Dance Company during a choreography residency program in Bari.

In 2017, she moved to Berlin, where she expanded her artistic career through collaborations with renowned choreographers such as Constanza Macras, Alessandro Marzotto, Julia Poulet, Svea Schneider, Angelo Petracca, Johannes Blattner, and Franka Marlene Foth. Her work extends beyond the stage and includes interdisciplinary projects in the fields of short films, music videos, and brand campaigns.
