The PERSPEKTIVWECHSEL dialog platform brings together artistsand scientistsfrom a wide range of disciplines for a discussion. This exchange is linked to the hope of gaining a new perspective on the world, which can lead to a better understanding of current challenges and potentials.
On the occasion of the finissage of the exhibition "IMMERGRÜN", the discussion format PERSPEKTIVWECHSEL, known from the Atelierfrankfurt, is a guest in Darmstadt. Our fifth round of talks, this time on the topic of "MITWELT ODER OHNE?-WIE STEHEN WIR ZUR NATUR?", will take place in the exhibition by Jana Hartmann, who, as the 13th Darmstadt city photographer, has spent over a year artistically exploring the theme of urban nature.
The term "Mitwelt" refers to the interdependence of our human existence on other natural entities. Humans are just one of many players in a complex network of relationships. How we perceive the world around us has a significant influence on our individual actions. Positive change always begins with raising awareness. Kathrin Meyer, Vicky Kluzik and Jana Hartmann will discuss whether and what science and art can contribute to a change in social awareness from multiple perspectives and together.
