The performances of PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES are cult class reunions of the old punk school. On December 21, Peter Bywaters and his cohorts will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic album "The Mating Sounds of South American Frogs" at the Wizemann in Stuttgart.

PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES are a phenomenon: 2023 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of their greatest success "The Mating Sounds of South American Frogs". With this album, the Test Tube Babies started their global success and were responsible for the soundtrack of the youth of countless punks. No party, no canned beer, no outing was complete without the songs from "South American Frogs". Now, 40 years later, the Test Tubes will play all the songs live once to celebrate the album's anniversary and present their best-of program. Various guests from Test Tubes history may appear to surprise the evening. It may be that some people have long believed that this could be the last time they will be able to experience the ingenious Test Tube Babies around band leader Peter Bywaters live, but it is probably simply the intensity of real punk rock without frills and airs and graces that their fans appreciate and have therefore remained loyal to the band for decades.
