Philine Sonny

Since the release of her first EP "Lose Yourself" in January 2022, Philine Sonny's career has taken off. Her love of music, coupled with her vulnerable and honest nature, is reflected in her lyrics. Philine's music is mainly guitar-heavy and influenced by artists such as Sam Fender, Clairo, Holly Humberstone, Bruce Springsteen and many others.

In her lyrics, Philine Sonny addresses insecurities and everyday issues that are close to people's hearts. Walking the fine line between the real and the imaginary, Philine finds her stories in the humility of everyday life and with a key role of her immediate surroundings in her lyrics, she challenges existing norms and systems through a self-critical, angst-ridden perspective. Wherever she finds herself in the cycle of life, whenever she feels the fear of losing and finding herself again, Philine Sonny draws on her feelings and awakens people's long abandoned emotions with her music.

Considered an up-and-coming talent early on, Philine has made waves in the music industry, attracting attention both in German-speaking countries and on international platforms such as Notion and Wonderland. Thanks to her captivating performances at renowned festivals such as South By Southwest and Reeperbahn Festival, Philine's fan base is steadily growing both inside and outside of Germany. Philine Sonny's second EP "Invader" will be released in early 2024. In May, Philine Sonny will then go on tour live and play numerous club shows throughout Germany.
