A tribute to the work of Billy Joel - the master of sophisticated piano songs. The inspiration for the name was probably the singer-songwriter's most famous world hit: "Piano Man". The world star's songs are dramatically and fascinatingly staged in an elaborate stage show. Pianist and lead singer Thomas Bötig presents the artist's musical stories with refreshing ease, always with a joke on his lips and a changeable, distinctive voice. Eight musicians, accompanied by a choir, take you on a journey through the world star's hits - from My Life, Just The Way You Are, We Didn't Start The Fire, The Longest Time or Uptown Girl - to Leningrad and, of course, Piano Man.
