Character Market

The international character market returns for its 4th year. Pictoplasma attendees and Berlin locals set up stalls in the Underground Hall to sell their character goods: handmade sculptures, eye-catching prints, unique and original works, zines, clothing, and much, much more. Save up your spare change - you won't want to leave empty-handed!

Animation Fest

The full official selection of the 2026 animation program gets a final screening at Kino Arsenal and Cupola Hall. A Mini-Plasma in the Studio Cinema invites the next generation to discover the wonderfully weird.

Picture Book Readings
Authors and illustrators of graphic novels and picture books invite everyone for readings of their works - read by them. Sessions move between children's stories and more mature narratives, creating a shared space for younger audiences and adults alike.

A Creative Workshop with Elenia Beretta
Experimental textures, colors, and shapes combine to form faces in a playful collage session at the silent green Ateliers with illustrator Elenia Beretta. With inspiration from a wall of expressive references and a large collection of mark-making tools, explore how gestural patterns and simple cut paper can turn into emotional personalities. Open to the public, all ages welcome!
