Pinocchio, the timeless fairy tale that has been read and translated the most worldwide in the last 150 years, remains an inexhaustible source of new interpretations and fascinating film adaptations to this day.

But is Pinocchio really just a story for children? Not at all! It is the captivating journey of a character who wanders between the human, animal, vegetable and even supernatural. From birth, Pinocchio searches for his uniqueness, driven by a restless desire for transformation. Created as an object, true life beats within him - wild and untamed!

This unbridled life energy manifests itself in wild convulsions, fugitive running, defiant disobedience, cunning lies, humiliating begging and liberating laughter. "My Pinocchio is not just the story of a puppet who becomes a boy, but the story of the malleable wood from which we are all carved. We are torn between social expectations and our inner longings, between the spontaneity of life and the formality of rules," says Antonella Simonetti, describing her profound interpretation.
Pinocchio's story reflects our own life experiences - moments of ignorance when we succumb to the temptations of the world, but also the realization that we are not alone. Each of us has our own inner fairy who accompanies us on our journey and allows us the innocence of many a lie.

Pinocchio is a captivating 90-minute stage play, accompanied by an enchanting musical backdrop. An evening full of emotions and insights that will touch young and old alike.
