Special exhibition at Oldenburg Palace
The collection of the Landesmuseum Kunst & Kultur Oldenburg contains a rich collection of post-1945 art, ranging from Expressionist positions to Concrete Art and Art Informel to typographic art - represented by artists such as Oskar Kokoschka, Emil Schumacher, Anton Stankowski and Josua Reichert.
The exhibition presents rarely shown prints, paintings and sculptures by these artists together with exhibition posters designed by them, reflecting the exciting art and exhibition events of their time. Colors, forms, typography and techniques are as diverse as the times in which they were created.
Supported with funds from zukunft.niedersachsen, the joint science funding program of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture and the Volkswagen Foundation.
