Leipziger Süden. A bit rough, a bit dirty, we love it.

What is a stand-up comedy open mic?
A stand-up comedy open mic is a small comedy test stage. Here you can see 6 new comedians and comediennes every week, who test their latest
jokes or perform well-known material. An evening lasts between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on the number of comedians.

After 3 comedians there is a short break. During this time you can refill your drinks and gather a little energy for the second half. There will be a moderator at the beginning who will talk to you and prepare the room for the comedians.

When and where does the Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic take place?
You can find us every Tuesday at Platzhirsch (Harkortstraße 21). In this beautiful little bar, we want to sweeten the start of the evening or the end of a long working day a little. That's why we start our open mic at 7 pm and finish before the clock strikes 21. Ideal for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a little non-binding fun during the week.

If you arrive a little earlier, you can enjoy the ambience of the Platzhirsch and their good drinks. You are cordially invited. The seats can then be taken punctually at 18:30.

The shows are donation-based.
Of course, this still means that admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Cultural events such as Comedy Open Mics should not be hidden behind expensive tickets. Nevertheless, donations at the end of the show help us to keep this event going to this extent. There is a basic donation recommendation of 10 euros per person. At the end of the day, however, you decide for yourself how much you want to give.
