POETISCHE BILDUNG: „MÄHNE SCHÜTTELN, MONSTER STRIEGELN“ - Lyrikvermittlung für Kinder

In the organizer's words:

This training course will be a celebration of poetry and its communication to children and young people. We will present new Germany-wide projects, get to know digital tools and use the latest materials.

As befits a celebration, we will start with a real hit: a reading by the eloquent author and poet Finn-Ole Heinrich (including Räuberhände / Frerk, du Zwerg / Die erstaunlichen Abenteuer der Maulina Schmitt, Trecker kommt mit, Schlafen wie die Rüben).

Afterwards, three current children's and youth poetry projects will be presented and tried out in practice-oriented workshops:

- Preview and practical application of the new children's section on the online platform "lyrikline.org" for a specialist audience

- the project "100 most beautiful volumes of poetry for children and young people" (Haus für Poesie and Clara Hoffbauer University of Applied Sciences) with the "libib" app

- the handouts "Praktisch: Lyrik" and "Einfach lyrisch" for the annual poetry recommendations; since 2024 also for children and young people (a cooperation project between the German Academy for Language and Poetry, Haus für Poesie, Stiftung Internationale Jugendbibliothek, Stiftung Lyrik Kabinett, Deutscher Literaturfonds in cooperation with the German Library Association)

All workshops are offered several times so that participation in several modules is possible. The final flourish will be the official opening of Germany's unique library for children's and young people's poetry for a specialist audience. Everyone is cordially invited to snack and browse!
