Poetry Slam im Parktheater Iserlohn

The poetry slam in the Park Theater is starting a new round! On 04.04., slam professionals Jan Schmidt and Andreas Klein, together successfully on the road as slam_kultur throughout South Westphalia, will bring a selection of the best slam poets to the stage to create a unique show that celebrates the spoken word!

Comedy, poetry, cabaret, performance, poetry, social criticism - all in one evening? That's the Poetry Slam at the Parktheater in Iserlohn!

The rules for the performers: a time limit of 6 minutes, no props, no costumes. Don't like an entry? Poetry Slam is a competition, YOU are the jury and decide who gets to go again and who gets eliminated.

One thing is for sure: it will be an unforgettable evening at the Parktheater.

Poetry Slam is a literary competition that enjoys great popularity. The performers must follow three simple rules during their appearances: all texts must be self-written, the maximum performance time is 6 minutes and no props or disguises are allowed. Apart from that, anything goes. Whether comedy, lyrics, cabaret, poetry, social criticism or slapstick... everyone gets their money's worth in this format. And the most important thing: YOU, the audience, decide who gets to perform again and who takes home the glory and victory at the end. Always a unique and spectacular evening.

The event starts at 20:00, admission is from 19:00.
