Poetry Slam – Plattdüütsch vs. Hochdeutsch

Poetry Slam op Platt, wat en Aggewars! No, of course not, because this is perhaps the most interesting cultural event of our time combined with the most beautiful language in the world - Low German.

But what is a poetry slam anyway?
This is where poets compete against each other with texts they have written themselves. The texts are judged by a random jury from the audience and a winner is chosen at the end. There will be fantastic texts to listen to along the way. On this evening: High German vs. Low German. In other words, there will be plenty of banter and performances, endless dööntjes, but also the odd thought plucked out of the air. An evening full of humor, lyrics, prose and poetry. Really wat to beleven!
