The poetry slam in Trostberg!
Thomas Eiwen has been organizing and hosting the Rosenslam in Rosenheim since 2019 and has been taking it on tour since 2022: this means that well-travelled poets from all over the German-speaking world come to Upper Bavaria and therefore also to Trostberg for a few days of poetry slam tour.
But what exactly is a poetry slam?
In this modern poetry competition, 4 poets compete against each other in two rounds with their self-written texts, without any aids and with a time limit of 7 minutes, in order to win the favor of the audience. The volume of the applause alone decides who wins! Whether thoughtful or funny, rhymed or prose, political or personal, a poetry slam covers everything with its colorful mix.
