Poetry slam is a kind of modern poetry competition in which stage authors perform their self-written texts live with full vocal and physical commitment. The texts can be very different: funny, lyrical, cabaret, poetic. You can look forward to a rousing mixture of humor, depth and amazing literary talent.

Anyone who thinks of Goethe poetry when they hear the term "poetry competition" is completely wrong! Poetry slam is more like a rock concert among literary events: From turbulent storytelling to fine poetry to humorous texts, from social criticism to nonsense to authentic emotions, everything is allowed here.
