Kottbusser Tor has a reputation for being a space of possibilities, a myth, a place to live, a workplace and a transport hub, a microcosm in its own right. In front of the Kotti Shop, an experimental non-profit art and project space in the middle of the New Kreuzberg Center, various artistic positions enter into an exchange with this multi-layered coexistence. With a special attention to materials and a feeling for surfaces or for the visible and invisible currents of the urban, bodies, text and space meet, overlap and translate each other, expose or add, and thus reflect an environment in which everything is constantly changing; with poetic surprise interventions by the Kotti Shop team throughout the Poets' Corner period.
