POLIÇA - Dreams Go Tour 2026
In the organizer's words:
To be called the best band of all time by Bon Iver is a great honor. And in Poliça’s case, it’s absolutely well-deserved—after all, the American indie rock band has been shaking up the scene for nearly 15 years. Poliça was founded by singer Channy Leaneagh and producer Ryan Olson. The two already knew each other from the underground scene in Minneapolis and their collaboration on the supergroup project Gayngs. For Poliça, they brought bassist Chris Bierden and drummers Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu on board—this unique lineup stood out from the very beginning.
On their debut album *Give You The Ghost*, released in 2012, they created their very own sound with a blend of electronic, indie rock, R&B, and goth pop: always characterized by the musical interplay between warmth and distance, dark synthesizers, pulsating rhythms, and Leaneagh’s unmistakable voice. With their subsequent albums *Shulamith* (2013), *United Crushers* (2016), “Music for the Long Emergency” (2018), “When We Stay Alive” (2020), and “Madness” (2022), they proved their talent and ability to evolve time and again—and enjoyed increasing success.
Their seventh album, “Dreams Go,” released in September 2025, is perhaps their most personal and emotional to date: it was created after bassist Chris Bierden was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. The eight songs are a poignant exploration of loss, resilience, and the fragile beauty of life—an attempt to preserve these moments while the band was undergoing a monumental transformation. Although “Dreams Go” was born out of a sense of sadness, the album is vibrant, warm, and proves once again how pain can be transformed into art.
And even though Chris Bierden can no longer perform live, Poliça will go on tour with this special album: With Alex Nutter on bass, they’re returning to stages across Europe. They’ll also be playing three shows in Germany—promising to be truly special evenings.
