In the organizer's words:

A play about chips, the Ruhr and love.
What has become of the Ruhr region? And what has become of the four friends who used to stand in the chip shop every day - bar table, window, smoker? One of them left, unfortunately for Düsseldorf.

The other three stayed - a trio of losers, but still going strong! Everything would be as it always is in the Pott if love hadn't intervened: an Italian donna, a stunner who - against all expectations - falls in love with this broken city of all places; and maybe stays.
A city, by the way, that bears a strong resemblance to Oberhausen - and not by chance!

In terms of genre, the evening is once again a balancing act, as is so often the case in Ebertbad productions: Cabaret plus songs times boulevard through comedy equals: entertainment at a high level.
