Lener stands for a generation that does not smooth out emotions, but transforms them into guitars, breaks and echoes. The road narrows, the engines howl - and then the next song comes.

The fields glow in the last light, the wind carries dust across the asphalt. At the edge of the city, where emptiness begins, Lener stands in the barn doorway - a figure between past and possibility. Growing up on a remote farm near Freising, her first songs were characterized by distorted guitars in the empty barn and nocturnal forays through the forest.

Today, the 26-year-old roams through Munich's urban interstices with Sketchbook. She observes, collects fragments of conversations and dreams - mosaics of a generation between self-optimization and rebellion. Her outsider perspective is deliberately chosen: stoic observer in front of collapsing walls of guitars. Her voice lies between Barnett nonchalance and Patti Smith restlessness, the melodies teeter between exhaustion and defiance. The lyrics seem like sketches on crumpled paper: rough, honest, like little comic oracles.
