In the organizer's words:
Have you ever rocked music with bananas? And what does it sound like when a giant ear listens to you while you form sounds with your balance?
The Ear Wants to Hear is an interactive exhibition that explores the phenomenon of sound through artistic research. It sharpens perception in a playful way and is aimed at all age groups.
The spatial installation "Plapalapap" introduces visitors to abstract sound by recording their voices with large ear sculptures and fragmenting and alienating them by operating sensors on the floor. In this way, self-efficacy can be experienced in a playful way.
The spatial installation "Banana Bowl" combines balance with sound perception. Several rocking bananas and a bowl-shaped rocking chair create sounds through movement. Together, the exploration of one's own motor skills creates a collective concert.
The entrance to the exhibition is located in the rear courtyard of the building. To enter, please ring the bell at the gate between house numbers 43 and 45.
Free admission.
