In the organizer's words:

"Taste is never innocent."

What we perceive as beautiful, ugly or trendy is far more than just a preference - it is a code with which we perform our identity. In a world full of fragments, we navigate through high and low, authentic and fake. But what does "taste" still mean today when each of our decisions simultaneously becomes a data point in a surveillance system?

The class of Prof. Yeşim Akdeniz (Kunstakademie Düsseldorf) invites you to the group exhibition "Post Taste".
