Potsdamer Tanztage: No one's Land | AHA Kollektíva (Budapest)

The theater curtain is closed, a reclining body is only half visible. Piece by piece, the stage opens up as individual figures slowly walk back and forth in fabric hoods, long robes and tights. Is it carnival? Object theater? Armed with scrap parts from the theater's technical warehouse, they spin an absurd and open plot that constantly brings new twists to the grey stage. Curtain down, curtain up. Now the performers dance with virtuosity in a graceful choreography... The AHA Kollektíva blurs the rules of performance and navigates through a gray area of evaluation. Are all the things we see just waiting to be decoded, identified and categorized? Or is there something that simply exists for itself? No One's Land is a no man's land, ready for all kinds of developments and surprises - an unidentifiable stage object about becoming, being and disappearing.
