Pottpoesie Poetry Slam

All aboard, please! Every first Sunday of the month, the Poetry Express pulls right into the main hall of Gleis 9. The Pottpoesie Poetry Slam invites you on a journey to the most beautiful stops between iambus and trochee, between big feelings and little smiles in between.

Six poets will compete with their texts. Anything goes, as long as it is self-written. Props stay in the luggage compartment, time is limited and the audience decides who wins the ticket to the final.

So you are not only fellow travelers, but also conductors of this evening. Because you set the direction and decide who will take the prize home to the station at the end!

The Pottpoesie Poetry Slam in Bochum brings fresh energy to the tracks of the cultural landscape in the Ruhr region. The name says it all: between steel and structural change, between Ruhr Valley charm and modern diversity, a new foothold for word art and performance is being created.
