Enough of the usual presentations at university or at work: PowerPoint karaoke turns your presentation into an entertaining adventure. This is because the candidates have to give a presentation that they have never seen before going on stage. And it can be about absurd or controversial topics. So you can look forward to an exciting and enjoyable evening with many a surprise moment - and in the wonderful ambience of our Metropolis cinema in Bochum's main station. The next opportunities for this special experience await you on February 20 and April 17, 2026 - the next show starts at 7.30 pm!

The overall procedure is very similar to the poetry slam: after a warm introduction by the Essen-based presenter and poetry slammer Zwergriese, the candidates show what they can conjure up from the presentation presented to them off the cuff. The audience then votes on which presentations were the best and who will then compete against each other again in the final with another presentation. In this way, you can have a direct say in the course of the show.

Of course, the contestants know neither the presentation nor the respective topic before the performance - and pretty much anything is conceivable, from the best tips for surviving a zombie apocalypse to contraceptive methods from antiquity to modern times and road traffic regulations. So you can be sure that it will be an exciting, varied and thoroughly entertaining evening, during which our presenters will demonstrate plenty of creative talent. Or rather: they will talk their heads off ...
