Clemens Meyer receives the prize in recognition and appreciation of his literary work to date, in particular his most recently published novel Die Projektoren (S. Fischer, 2024).
On Thursday, April 24, the writer will receive the LiteraTour Nord prize, which is endowed with 15,000 euros and awarded by the VGH Foundation, at a public award ceremony.
Clemens Meyer, born in Halle/Saale in 1977, made his highly successful debut in 2006 with Als wir träumten. He has received numerous prizes for his extensive work, including the Klopstock Prize for New Literature for his previous work.
