An ordinary working day on a building site. Thomas, a 40-year-old crane operator, receives a call from his wife asking him to pick her up from the hospital. He finds her crying. After MUSIC, Angela Schanelec succeeds in making a film that is as direct as it is poetic, dealing with language on different levels. A snapshot of life in the big city, full of beauty and sadness.
