Premiere Part I: Meta's helix vials
In 1798, the poet Klopstock writes an ode to his prematurely deceased wife Meta. 400 years later, the Earth is uninhabitable and the new generation of humans ekes out a meagre existence on the planet Diospyros. There, the botanist Meta Xoxox comes across old helix vials and secretly decodes them. She discovers images and declarations of love from the past, addressed to an unknown world full of beauty. And the two worlds are mysteriously connected.
The artist duo Schöne Gegend have transformed the interior of the Christianskirche with their story into a walk-in radio play, interwoven with texts by the Ernst Deutsch Theater's youth collective Performance Plus. With large-scale illustrations, light, text projections and live music by Sinnthese, a poetic radio play space is created.

A ticket is required for this event.
