In the organizer's words:

The Care Bears are getting nowhere on their mission - to make the world a little better. Even their bellies have stopped glowing. A visit to the doctor brings no cure, but an unexpected idea: "Maybe a repair café will help you."
In the hope of finding a solution to their problem, Cheer, Grumpy and Bedtime set off on a journey through the Ruhr region - into a world of screwdrivers, sewing machines and communities of solidarity. In their search for lost energy, they meet people who live other forms of togetherness in repair cafés, unpackaged stores and workshops. Between coffee and soldering irons, fabric remnants and bicycles, they discover a culture of caring - beyond the pressure to perform and the throwaway mentality.
A road trip through "repair territory", on which the Care Bears - or rather: the Repair Bears - not only find their glow again in the end.
