PRENDE LA VELA - Fiesta colombiana

The community celebrates! This invitation is especially addressed to all those who are connected to or curious about Colombian and Latin American culture.

On December 8th we celebrate PRENDE LA VELA with a great program:

From 19.00 until open end

Admission: 10 euros incl. a shot of Aguardiente/ Children have free admission and parents with children (up to 12 years) pay only 7 euros.

The Night of the Candles is a deeply rooted Colombian tradition. Everyone receives a candle at the entrance. We light them and place them for peace in Colombia and in the world. It is a ritual for the whole family that welcomes the December festivities and the Christmas spirit. Meanwhile, many Colombian specialties are offered. After all, the way to the heart is through the stomach!

To connect with our roots and celebrate our cultural diversity, we invited our favorite cumbia band "El Caimán". To the sound of the drums, dancer Klemcy Salza will initiate "La Rueda de Cumbia" with the participants of the cumbia workshop. Be sure to join in!

From around midnight party with the DJs: El Güero @artiebuco and @vulcangirl will heat up the dance floor and make the night unforgettable with Colombian music!
