In the organizer's words:
Present Time Composition (PTC©) is a method for collective improvisation developed by Alan Bern. It shows in a very detailed and practical way how to make more creative and coherent musical decisions, both as a soloist and as a member of an ensemble. In this workshop we will work in more detail on impulses and transitions and introduce different roles in duo and trio constellations.
Participants must have completed a PTC1 workshop with Alan.
