A warm welcome. Come in! Celebrate with us, listen to music with us, think with us about love, about despair, about the fear of loneliness - and about courage. Because sometimes it takes great courage to show your true self. Together with the new ensemble members of Schauspiel Hannover and an international dance ensemble, author and director Falk Richter explores stories about pride and shame, about life as a queer* person and about the fears and hopes that come with coming out. The media crossover production "PRIDE" invites the Hanover audience on an impressive journey through Germany's (and Lower Saxony's) history of resistance, invisibility and the present. The achievements and current threats to the fight for the equality and freedom of all people are told by a diverse ensemble from different generations and with different perspectives - creating a multi-layered, intimate portrait of Germany in the fall of 2025.
