Friday, October 02

Tu Punch (WHV)
Tu Punch from Wilhelmshaven bring direct, raw and energetic rock to the stage. The special thing about Tu Punch is that both band members play every instrument and take turns on stage. This gives their performance a captivating dynamic that you have to see and feel. Their songs tell honest, powerful stories from life, carried by driving rhythms and gripping guitar riffs.

Skranefjell (WHV)
The likeable band Skranefjell from Wilhelmshaven, who were the only band to take part last year, are back again. Why are they allowed to? Because the three of them gave us the PUNKLOK anthem and the song is simply wonderful. Thank you for that. Just search for punklok on the streaming services. You'll love it.

The Snouters (IT)
The Snouters from Italy are a dynamic punk rock project that impresses with a diverse mix of influences - from roots ska to Californian punk. The result is an original sound complemented by a powerful yet warm female voice. The band members bring a wealth of experience from active ska and punk projects, which they have brought to the stage internationally.

TROBI (WST)
TROBI, stands for "beer music" - a unique sound made up of acoustic punk and singer-songwriter elements, combining joie de vivre, social criticism and humor. The band's story began in Oldenburg in 2018, when the two musicians wrote their first song based on a spontaneous idea. Beer became the unifying element - as a theme and metaphor for friendship, celebrations and the challenges of everyday life.

De Schkandolmokers (WST)
The name "Schkandol" comes from Low German and means "noise" - and that is exactly the program for this band. On stage, they offer an explosive mixture of Schkandol, wit and a good dose of punk rock. The four men prove that punk rock and Low German go together perfectly, like crab and bread rolls. With hits like "Trekker Förn!" and "Mors Hoch", there's no stopping the audience - roar-along factor guaranteed!

RUN ZERO (OL)
RUN ZERO come from Oldenburg and play punk rock with German lyrics that get straight to the point. Powerful, catchy and (almost) without frills. They have been playing together in their current line-up since 2014.
The new EP "Nie im Leben" is available on all streaming services.

The Raccoonz (EF)
Erfurt band The Raccoonz are capturing the hearts of Generation Z with their unique indie punk sound. Founded by Lou, Rumi, Yuki and David, they bring a breath of fresh air to the music world with their colorful hair, cheeky lyrics and unmistakable energy. Their aim is to write more of their own songs and become known beyond the borders of Erfurt. Their first single "Erstmal eine Rauchen" impressively shows that they don't just play cover versions, but also tell their own stories. With their debut EP "23 Uhr" and over 32,000 followers on Instagram, they have already built up a loyal fan base.

Rong Kong Koma (B)
Too playful for punk, too dirty for indie, too angry for pop - that's Rong Kong Koma.
A grating voice and driving drums meet filigree, blistering guitars and a bouncing bass.
"The hardest band in pop. The softest band in punk. They are everything that other bands don't want to be. Catchy songs, played with the maximum amount of scuffing and punk. Catchy tunes with rough edges. Plus snotty lyrics for which you could get a beating at any time - or a hug." (OX)

Bear and the milk boys (H)
With Jung kaputt spart Altersheime, Bärchen und die Milchbubis delivered THE punk slogan of the time at the beginning of the 80s: "No Future!" was the motto. But the band also had plenty of pop appeal beyond punk and operated at the interface with Neue Deutsche Welle. I don't want to get any older, they wrote on their debut album Dann macht es Bumm (1981). They have grown older, but not milder, because there is still reason to be angry and celebrate. Over 40 years later, their second album, Die Rückkehr des Bumm! ...
