In the organizer's words:

If you are interested in the gastronomy of Mesoamerica, this time from El Salvador, and want to experience it with full flavor, then you should not miss this opportunity with us. We will create a cozy atmosphere in the Kanchay art studio in Ehrenfeld, where we will cook together, try new flavors, learn and laugh.

Agenda: May 18 from 11:00 a.m. / May 19 from 1:00 p.m.
- Get-together with welcome drink and snacks made from corn.
- Eat slowly and with pleasure OR eat to get full. (30 minutes of open discussion and reflection)
- Salsa and curtido preparation. (about 1 hour)
- Be the artist: the dough and your hands. (about 2 hours)
- Eat, enjoy and chat together. ( on 18.5 until about 17: 00 / on 19.5 until about 19:00 )

Each participant can prepare pupusas to take away and share with friends/family later.
You can also take salsa and curtido home with you.

Other drinks will be offered at a fair price. Such as our homemade Jamaican soda.

What do you get?

• Coffee and soft drinks are included.
• Ingredients for the preparation of about 10 pupusas per person (number depends on size): Two types of flour (rice and corn), cheese, black beans (cooked for 8 hours), zucchini/onion filling.
  Other fillings such as mushrooms, eggplant, etc. will be provided.
• Ingredients for the tomato sauce, including "Chile Guaco" from Mexico.
• Ingredients for the curtido (pickled cabbage salad): Onions, cabbage and carrot.
• Corn snack: cancha and totopos.

Finally, I will prepare a surprise dessert for you.

Please bring 2-3 tupperware containers and clean jars to take your pupusas and curtido with you.
