Faced with the fear of the big picture, we must return to the very small things: friendship, parties, home-cooked meals, the tulips in your father’s garden.
The artists’ works navigate between pessimism about the future, irony as a coping mechanism, and the romanticization of a sheltered everyday life that is perceived as both taken for granted and fragile.
