Queen Mahoro
In the organizer's words:
Queen Mahoro is “born and raised in ’53,” as she herself says. As a small child, she was fascinated by the rhythmic tapping on Bibles and tables. Starting around age 5, she sang in a children’s choir until she was 10. After that, she tried her hand at various sports and instruments while continuing to sing on the side. In the summer of 2019, she began posting regular videos of cover songs on Instagram. Now she wants to be the role model she always felt was missing. In her songs, she explores many different themes, such as heartbreak and life as a BIPOC.
