In the organizer's words:
Queer Family Album is an ongoing transdisciplinary performance series that brings together a collective of diverse queer artists. Based on artistic collaboration, it explores queer futures through performance and storytelling, breaking down barriers and creating new utopias.
The first edition of Queer Family Album took place at Ballhaus Ost in 2024 and featured world premieres by KAy Garnellen and Yvonne Sembene. In 2025, the series will continue with Volume 2 at Sophiensælen, with works by Juliana Piquero, Joy Mariama Smith and Dylan Spencer-Davidson.
Queer Family Album is dedicated to amplifying queer voices, creating space for community and evolving as an ever-growing archive of shared experiences.
