Queer Jewish Days 2026: Let It Be Light!

In the organizer's words:

The third Queer Jewish Days at the Old Synagogue Essen are taking place under the motto "Let it be light!" . Whether queer and Jewish, Muslim, Christian or unaffiliated.
As part of the Queer Jewish Days 2026, we are taking a look at movements from civil society. The focus is on queerness, tradition and civil rights in the Federal Republic of Germany, the GDR and Europe.

Cinema tours, workshops, lectures, guided tours and our Sixties coffee klatsch on the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising (28.06.1969), the beginning of the queer movement, will bring you together with numerous actors and partners.
