Visibility, self-determination and professional participation of queer people
Dear interested parties and supporters, the queer movement has achieved a great deal in recent decades. Visibility, self-determination and social participation are now possible in many areas. At the same time, we are concerned to see how anti-queer networks are increasingly gaining influence. They threaten safe spaces, call queer livelihoods into question and push queer people back into invisibility. This also has an impact on the working environment of these people and is disheartening. In this situation, positive examples of diversity in action, openness and mutual solidarity are particularly important - especially in the working environment. Prejudices, barriers and exclusion still stand in the way of a queer-friendly working environment and are a burden for responsible companies and employees alike. Together, we want to find out how networks can be formed, future prospects identified and possible solutions achieved.
