Hamburg's SMASH COMEDY CLUB is coming to Essen! Smash Comedy = Smash Patriarchy: Stand-up without toxic masculinity, sexism, ableism and racism, queer and trans hostility. The women, FLINTA* & queers of the German comedy scene are celebrated here - for more visibility of marginalized groups, people and topics that hardly ever take place on the mainstream comedy stages. With maximum fun, awareness and diversity power against discrimination and Trumpism!

Stand-up comedy as we understand it: as a form of protest, as a feminist and cultural activist act. Come along, train your laughter and empathy muscles with us, we look forward to it! (ALL GENDERS WELCOME).
