Discover your own queer voice and put it on paper! Together we will explore how writing can be a space for self-determination, visibility and creativity.

You can expect:
- Short writing exercises
- Impulses for inspiration
- Exchange in the group
- Diverse forms of expression: from personal narration to playful language experiments
- Open to all - no previous experience necessary
- Bring along: Curiosity about your own words

Afterwards, there will be another workshop where you can turn your texts into a unique zine. So feel free to stay a little longer!

And who is actually giving the workshop?
Linn Schiffmann (dey/deren), born 1990 in Dortmund, is a genderqueer artist. Dey works interdisciplinary between visual arts and literature and thematizes identity, queerness and social power structures in her works. Projects such as #tofacetransvoice (with Dalton Harrison) and #365womenportraits visibly stage queer and feminist themes.

The event series is supported by the City of Bochum, the Mülheim an der Ruhr Cultural Office, the Arcus Foundation and the Ruhr Regional Cultural Program of the Ministry of Art and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
