QUGA 2025 Tür an Tür - Viertelfest

At the Tür an Tür Viertelfest, the Mirker Hebebühne is transformed into the home of the neighborhood for four days

Many of us live next door to each other - and yet remain strangers. This is exactly what the Tür an Tür Viertelfest from 10 to 13 June 2025 wants to change and invites you to get to know the Mirk neighborhood. Every day from 4 to 9 p.m., the area around the Hebebühne (Mirker Straße 62) will be transformed into an open home for everyone who wants to exchange ideas and gain new perspectives.

It is often not differences that divide us - but a lack of encounters. The Viertelfest invites you to leave your everyday life behind for a moment and discover what lies behind the next door: new perspectives, other worlds, surprising similarities. Because most people are not strangers - we just don't know them yet.

The festival is free of charge and invites people from the Mirke district of Nordstadt, regardless of age, origin or background, to come together and literally open doors. The festival follows the idea of a house whose doors are open - each door leads into its own "room", which creates different approaches to togetherness and exchange in a playful way. Whether at the play area in the "garden", on the neighborhood stage in the "living room", at the communal buffet in the "kitchen" or at the bulletin board in the "hallway": the festival creates space for new perspectives and encounters.

Visitors can expect a varied program that is created together with the neighbourhood. On the stage, residents present their hobbies or provide entertainment, while games such as table tennis invite people to join in and have fun together.

Residents can show and do whatever they like on the stage - be it music, dance, an interactive quiz or their very own ideas. Anything that is fun and enriches the festival is possible. Games such as table tennis also invite people to join in.

The program is complemented by a free neighbourhood buffet where culinary contributions from the neighbourhood are shared. Creative reflection and hands-on activities offer space for thoughts, personal stories and new perspectives. Neighbors can share their ideas, requests or invitations on the bulletin board.
