Boom Your Brains is coming to Kerpen with “Twistomat”: Head to the Trompeter!

Boom Your Brains is the quiz event organized by the Cologne-based Funfusion collective—founded by us (Vera & Ute), two sisters who went to school in Kerpen. Just like with our Pocket Quizzes, the motto is: Brains come together. Your knowledge will be put through our Twist Generator! Combine, twist, decode, think outside the box—and on top of that: lots of laughter! Finally, a quiz with both “Aha!” and “Haha!” moments!

MIX OF TOPICS: Because every team member has their own sweet spot somewhere.

👀Eating, drinking, and quizzing all happen simultaneously—it’s totally hassle-free. Sometimes things get a little wild at the table—and that’s exactly part of the fun. 😉

🎤 DAD SINGS: You have to identify songs sung by our dad and guest stars from the family—yes, really. Very funny!
🗞️ FAKE NEWS: Alternative facts with a twist! In the newspaper “BALLA BALLA,” someone has thoroughly distorted the facts in both text and images. Find the “fake news.”
 

👥 TICKETS & TEAMS

• Whether with friends, family, or as a team event with us—games are played in teams of 2–5 people.
• There are also early-bird tickets—if you want to make sure you get in, you’d better grab them quickly.
   

TIMES: Feel free to arrive right at 6:30 p.m. and get ready to start with drinks and food.

📍 LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE
We’ll be hosting the quiz at “Zum Trompeter”—a true Kerpen institution with a cozy atmosphere.
Whether it’s schnitzel variations, tarte flambée, burgers, or classic pub fare: there’s something for everyone here. To go with it, there’s freshly tapped Kölsch, Aperol Spritz, cocktails, and many other drinks. And best of all: dogs are welcome, too. 🐶
