Temperatures of 48° and torrential rain - is this still "weather" or already a "climate crisis"? We feel the weather every day - rain, sun, wind, etc. But behind the weather is the climate. And that is changing. Which is why we are feeling climate change more and more in our daily weather: Heavy rain, droughts, heatwaves, floods.

How are extreme weather events and climate change connected? What do we need to prepare for? How will the weather change worldwide? What does this mean for our region? And what can we actively do?

We will hear impulses from and exchange ideas with Harry Röhrle (weather reporter SWR Landesschau), Timo Saier (Stuttgart Municipal Winery), Prof. Jörn Birkmann (Head of the Institute for Spatial Planning and Development Planning at the University of Stuttgart)
