The Qweer Markets (“Qweer Fest”) bring together entrepreneurs from the LGBTQI+ community to showcase and sell their handmade goods.
These events are for (and organized by) people who identify as queer (and their friends).
In a capitalist system, it’s never easy for a small, independent, queer-identifying business to succeed—which is why we created this event. We make sure to welcome all like-minded people and their friends to support the LGBTQI+ entrepreneurial community.
We believe that economic independence through entrepreneurship is of great importance to marginalized communities like our own.
The queer community comes together to sell their best gift items at our three markets. We hold three seasonal events: Spring, Summer, and Winter.
This is a family-friendly event, even though some products sold may be intended for adult use only.
This is our first international event, and we’re very excited to have you be a part of it. It will take place onSunday, June 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Social Hub Vienna(Nordbahnstraße 47, 1020 Vienna). It’s a new venue for us this year, and we’re excited to transform it into a queer space—it will also be hosting the hotel’s regular guests.

We’re setting up a stage area at this event with live shows and performances, so be sure to arrive early so you don’t miss out.
Admission is donation-based (suggested 5€) and paid directly at the door. We’ll have food stands, fresh cocktails served at the venue’s bar, over 20 LGBTQI-owned booths, and a stage entertainment area (3:00 PM–8:30 PM).
The venue is a hotel, so feel free to book directlythrough themif you’d like to stay there. Alternatively, you might consider coordinating with other vendors attending to share accommodations and transportation.
For reference, the table size at this event is approximately200 cm long by 50 cmwide (each venue offers different tables, and they vary from event to event depending on availability). An artist’s table is half the size of the table described above. Your display racks should be approximately 45 cm wide and 100 cm long (Ikea standard, for reference). All booths come with one chair or a bench (additional seating can be arranged at the venue).
