In the organizer's words:
Franca Scholz (lives and works in Cologne) explores the interweaving of physicality, interpersonal relationships and power relations in her drawings, performances and textiles. In combination with spoken and written language, her works question everyday actions, the relationship to oneself and to other people. The exhibition deals with questions of "holding": what it means to stop, hold on, endure, pause and persevere.
