Rahlstedter Kulturverein proudly presents: Gypsy Swingende mit Helmut Stuaring, Allegro

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

The 100th birthday of Django Reinhardt—the guitarist and bandleader of Sinti
heritage (1910–1953)—inspired violinist Helmut Stuarnig to found the
band GYPSY-SWING in 2010.
A native of Austria and a member of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra since 1984,
convinced three equally passionate musician friends to join him:
guitarist Frank Laue, double bassist Peter Scharonow, and jazz singer Ioanna Sianou.
Since 2010, the quartet has been bringing Gypsy Swing to life, just as it flourished in the 1930s
of the last century.
The band’s growing fan base has much to look forward to in 2026
, as the band will be celebrating its 16th anniversary and embarking on a
“Jubilee Plus 1 Tour”!
