RAT BOY are coming back to Oberhausen!

After their fantastic performance at the last edition of the Olgas Rock Festival 2025, RAT BOY are touring Germany in spring 2026 and are coming to Oberhausen for an exclusive Ruhr area headliner show at Zentrum Altenberg. The venue will be the tranquil Walzenlagerkino on our premises. The cinema seats will be taken out without further ado and a special kind of movie will be shown 🙂

The Walzenlagerkino has a rather small capacity. The ticket contingent is therefore not particularly large. If you want to see RAT BOY in a miniclub, you should get your tickets quickly!

Rat Boy is the musical project of British artist Jordan Cardy, who originally started out as a solo artist and now presents a distinctive mix of indie rock, punk and hip-hop with his band. He rose to fame with his debut album Scum (2017), which reached number 15 in the UK charts, and its successor Internationally Unknown (2019), which was shaped by his collaboration with Tim Armstrong from Rancid. Their last album "Suburbia Calling" was released in 2024 via Hellcat Records. The already very broad mixture of punk rock & hip hop is clearly supplemented here with ska elements. You often feel reminded of Madness or The Clash. Simply a great album! Now we are eagerly awaiting new material and are really looking forward to welcoming this wonderful quartet from Essex (north-east of London) to our stage.
