Sleng Tang has made a fine name for itself over the years in its home city of Hamburg and beyond. Raw Bird is on board as the singer. He captivates the audience with his stage presence, his skill and his friendliness. Raw Bird, who is still also the frontman of I-FIRE, captivates the audience as an experienced entertainer and turns a concert with the Sleng Tang Gang into an unforgettable experience. Sleng Tang was founded in 2014 as the successor project to Dagobert Dub, a band that consisted of musicians from the former Sam Ragga Band, among others, and caused a sensation as an integral part of the DUB THE CLUB sessions in Hamburg. The first sessions took place in 2004 at the Kurhotel in Große Freiheit. The positive vibrations unleashed an unconditional desire to continue. Now there was no turning back.

Sleng Tang is now on two tracks: as an independent band with a full live program and still as a host of sessions, in which classic riddims are played in a freshly polished way alongside their own pieces, giving the singers and musicians present space for their contributions.

Raw Bird and the Sleng Tang Gang have used the pandemic extensively to hone their own tracks. Lush, ultra-clean, tightly played riddims provide a great basis for Raw Bird's distinctive vocals, which send out messages of love and unity, sometimes in English, sometimes in German.
