Journalist Shelly Kupferberg is a versatile person. She has been presenting cultural, literary and social magazines for years, works freelance for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and hosts daily cultural programs live on rbb. Her moving debut novel "Isidor" was published in 2022, promptly attracting a host of enthusiastic reviews.
For the "Mannheimer Sommer", she will bring together a highly interesting panel to discuss questions of nature and culture. The author Luise Meier, who is currently preparing her eco-science fiction novel "Hyphen", the State Secretary in the local Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts, Arne Braun, and festival director Jan Dvořák will join Kupferberg to address the question of what mental and spiritual resources are needed to cope with the imminent ecological change - and what art can contribute to this. Shelly Kupferberg will then host the "RE-CREATION" concert in the castle garden.
