Re-Knitting Club

Re-Knitting club is a bi-monthly workshop hosted by Yoojin where we explore sustainable knitting together - slowly, practically, and joyfully.

Do you have knitwear you love for its color or material, but never wear because the design doesn't quite feel right anymore?

In this workshop, we start by unraveling old knit garments and turning them back into yarn. Then, we share those yarns with each other. As colors and textures mix, so do stories - making both the yarn and the experience richer.

• If you're a beginner, you'll learn the basics of knitting - cast on, knit, purl, and bind off - and create your own simple scarf step by step.

• If you're not a beginner, you're very welcome to work on your own personal project. By unraveling old knits, you'll gain a deeper understanding of how knitting works, explore different yarn materials, and experience the joy of sharing yarn with people who love knitting just like you do.

How it works: We meet twice a month. Come to one session, or join us for both - the more you come, the more you learn and your knitting circle grows.

What to bring: Bring your knitting materials and any old sweater that you dont use anymore - the more colorful or interesting the yarn, the better. This is the heart of Re-Knitting Club: giving old materials new life while building a shared yarn stash together.
