Album release "Changing Perspectives"

Driven by an irrepressible curiosity and love of experimentation between jazz and symphonic contemporary music, Rebecca Trescher has made an excellent name for herself on the German and international jazz scene.

Nature and her compositional ideas are usually closely linked; her music has something grounded and at the same time something airy about it. Trescher creates a unique creative sound space with her compositions - never striking, but associative and organic.

In her quartet, she brings together three outstanding instrumentalists with whom she has long worked as a well-rehearsed team: her long-time companion Andreas Feith on piano, the astute yet refined bassist Lukas Keller from Cologne and the creative, creative drummer Jan Brill from Nuremberg. These musical personalities reshape the compositions in their very own way and constantly explore the boundaries between composition, improvisation and interpretation.
